Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. My musical roots extend from early Rock & Roll, Big Bands, Soul Music to Smooth Jazz. I began learning to play the saxophone at age 11. My first professional gig was with the Donnie Bowser (Stone Heart) Band at the age of 12. I played in the band and orchestra throughout my school years and started playing lead guitar in my high school days, but switched back to saxophone because I loved playing the horn much more. During the 70's I had the privilege of being a member of Faze O and toured with the Ohio Players, the Commodores, War, Parliment Funkadelics, Archie Bell & the Drells. In the late 70's- early 80's I performed with vibe great Johnny Lytle, The Jimmie Foster Trio, Pure Pleasure Show Band, New Music and the Harenberg Jazz Quartet. I took about a 15 year break from music to pursue my business career in design and engineering. I am now once again playing, writing, recording, and producing music full time for Riley Cat Records and the Jacohlamusic Studio. I available to perform music live and offer music lessons, studio recording sessions, mixing and mastering services. Please refer to the STUDIO SERVICES Tab.
